the female players really dig it... I loved the sound... might be cool go with a light set of strings and use it as a piccolo too.. would work great as a session tool..
for 5'2" female players it is perfect... where are the Bangels when you need them.:)

At first Jimmy didn't know what to charge for the Shorties... It's a tough one cause they use only slightly lesser material but take the same time and effort to build as regular basses.

But one was sold so I guess he figured something out.

Ok, off topic, but where are your NAMM pics????

I posted a link to my pics a few pages back... But they didn't come out too well. The camera is normally pretty awesome so I guess it's me that's the problem.

I really wanna hear that pickup! Looks interesting.

Well Bernie... I am trying to go to the shop tonight and will record the blue bass along with the walnut 5 for you... But it's raining like crazy here and traffic might be stupid bad - to those who've been, think CA traffic times at least 3. :scowl:
So right now I am doubtful.

Like Chef said, take care and be safe above all. But if you do make it there, I can't wait to hear what you come up with!

"Here's Jimmy Coppolo, of Alleva-Coppolo, delivering Hugh's new bass to him at the Show. Hugh's wife bought it for him as a Christmas gift."

Yes it is Nitro, with Dalbergia FB.. pretty light Alder too.. Hugh changed the PG to Mint yesterday and it was dropped off at the rehearsal place for cartage today.
Its about 8.5 pounds or so. and a nice balance too..

Whoa!! Congrats, Jimmy! So that's why Hugh was hanging at the booth. Very, very cool.

Wonder if that is nitro and a brazilian board? Kinda looks like it.
