They do look your basses.... It would be funny if they were actually reunited...

The LG was used, but that was built for that 'collector guy'... forgot his name... Paul something... so it still had the plastic protection on it when I got it (my RA came from him also... also literally new).

My LM was hanging in Jimmy's shop in New York when I bought it (based on a picture on his website), and was sold as a 'new' bass... so probably not.

I'm pretty sure that is a different bass, but kind of funny that both are kind of the same as my two. I remember that picture. I wish I had 1/4 of the skill of either of those two guys.

You could probably quickly tell by looking at your pickguard, if the holes for the bell cover are drilled into the body, not just the pick guard, all of my A-C's had the holes in the guard but not into the wood.

If there's no holes in the PG, then if you want to, remove the guard and look underneath, if there holes in the body, it could be the same bass.

Now i remember.. thanks.

My LG doesn't have holes in the wood (the green one).

My LM stays in another location, so can't check. I do remember I wanted one of those little pickup covers, since I thought they looked cool. Jimmy no longer had them available, so he actually sent me a pick guard with no holes in it to 'clean up the look'. It wasn't necessary, but I thought that was a nice touch. I'm almost positive it didn't have the holes drilled.

However, if Paul would like to borrow it for a week and put some of that stank in there, I'd send it to him!

Just spoke with Jimmy .. both my LGs are being slapped together as i type...
I almost wish he didn't tell me... Now i want photos... and he doesn't have time since he is getting ready for BPL...

:DSo anyone that thinks i get special treatment... Thats the special treatment i get..:D

Im jealous. Ive seen photos of all your basses as they get put together.. :D:D

Anyway, The Sonic Blue LG5 is getting fresh AC Rounds and the Oly White Dots/Binding is getting Half rounds for now.

Both Will and Marcus told me they use the metal pickup cover because it was on their bass when they started playing and they just got used to it being there!

I have never heard any sound difference with or without it.

Will auditions the covers by tapping them and picking the one that sounds the best. He does use his as a cowbell.

Cool! Thanks, Roger.

Unconfirmed.. Yup sounds weird.. Sorry folks...
Another company that Jimmy is sharing the room at SIR BPL with, will not allow the REDDI to be at Jimmys booth for you to try with his basses.. I understand and I regret having to tell you all.
REDDI will have an Alleva bass at there booth from what I understand..

Confirmed.. Peter Montessi from A-Design will have a REDDI box + headphone amp at the Alleva booth at Bass Player live.. Also Jimmy's Trusty Aguilar Amp.
REDDI / A-Design will have Bobby Vegas JJ4 Alleva at their booth for demo purposes.
Will be a fun show for all.
