YEAH! I am down with some Fatburger! Most of the guys around here have never had it but I have made a couple of stops at the one in Chesapeke, VA to turn them on. Never fails now they always stop when we are doing gigs over that way...What do you think the odds of getting one in Wilmington will be....
I HIGHLY recommend Lovey's place (Fatburgers founder) over most anything out there. If you got the balls order a Triple King flame broiled (or grilled, your choice there) and tell me that ain't sex on a piece of bread...LOL! I can not do the Triple but I have had my fair share of the doubles! Shakes are great too....

AWWWWW Man! Dude next time you are in LA go out to the Fatburgers on Hollywood at Hollywood and Vermont...Cool vibe, great burgers! Used to be my favorite place for lunch when I was out there a lot...Trust me on this...you will dig it if you have any love for a good burger...

Agreed though I must admit I do like the old fashioned fries at Fatburger...In and out is better if you just want fries though...(A TRAVESTY!!!)

Letting the cat out of the Bag I've had a RA4 on order for a while now and it looks like the neck is coming back from paint. It will be Poly Black W/Black blocks and a WBW pickgard.A straight "Geddy" look
I'm making myself a bit of a guinea pig and asked Jimmy to have Sebnem Wind me up some 70's spec pick ups.The wire will use a different coating or something. Jimmy warned me that they might be "thin" sounding.He said he's made five string pickups this way but not four. I just want things to be as period piece as possible.We'll see how that turns out.
To pay for it I will be moving a LG5 Ice blue metallic /headstock and delbergia. Simply way too nice of a bass for a guy who's not playing fives hardly at all.

I'm digging my RA with the DR Nickels on it at the moment. That combination with the RH450 and the AE410 is very tight and punchy and warm and growly.... like an LG on steroids. I dig it for what it is. I'm not sure what it exactly sounds like (not really a 70's J tone at all), but it sounds darn good! The LM continues to absolutely kill in every way. Peter is in for a real treat I think!
Thanks so much for that! Jimmy had sent me a picture of the body with a real rough cut, it is even more beautiful now that it's been cleaned up.
It does seem like a real shame to do anything to cover up that body up, I am glad at this point I hadn't made a decision to go with a solid color. Still not sure but I bet it's going to sound great!
That looks great man! If not natural, then a transwhite or other color would look really nice.
