Thanks for al the kind words guys...I will get it this Friday...Marcel will take the studio shots and George will do a video early this week...

But I must reiterate this again....I cannot say enough about George/Marcel and all the crew at FBass...during the build process I probably talked to all the staff members at one time or another...all of them truly love what they do!!...You can tell that this is not merely a job for them...they are truly gifted at their craft and care about their customers...and it shows... for those that are contemplating purchasing a FBass...all I can say is..."What are you Waiting for"!!!!

The ultimate gig will be when I get my Puma 900 and M212 cab ...(also purchased through FBass)..and plug in the AC6...you guys might not hear from me for a long time!! LOL

Here is my 1987 neck-through turquoise ceruse FBass. May I have a number please?
Welcome aboard! That is one interesting Fbass! Can you share a photo more close up on the body? I'm curious about the controls.

Welcome aboard! That is one interesting Fbass! Can you share a photo more close up on the body? I'm curious about the controls.

Here is a body closeup. It is wired like a strat 5 position switch: neck, neck + middle, middle, middle + bridge, bridge. Then there is an overall volume dial closest to the neck, and a tone dial by the bridge. With those EMG pickups, the tonal variety is incredible! The neck is 5-piece maple and phenolic with a Macassar Ebony fretboard (silver side dots). It also has a Kahler vibrato bridge. Without a doubt, the coolest bass that I own. Many thanks to Mr George Furlanetto for creating such wonderful instruments for so many years... he is the best! :)

You did a GREAT job of anticipating most of my questions when I asked for the close up. And thanks for responding so quickly.

That slide switch is EXTREMELY interesting. And I wondered if the knobs were stacked since I only saw two. And I was definitely curious about the bridge.

What is a "vibrato bridge?"

AKA tremelo bridge. Honestly, I had never seen one on a bass guitar before I got this one. The handle has been removed from mine, but it could be reinstalled very simply. Here is an example of what can happen
