Here's a couple of shots of a New Church launch I participated in today. My Will Lee worked perfectly, I had a buddy there who is one of the better players in the D and an MTD endorser, he was very impressed. View attachment 3546005View attachment 3546006
A Sadowsky version of Marcus Miller's iconic bass, weird pick guard and all, considering Roger got his start from helping to modify Marcus' main-damey studio bass.
Not to play devils advocate here, it's general curiosity. If indeed it's a Marcus Miller sig bass, wouldn't that cause a conflict of interest with whatever arrangement he has with Sire and his basses with them?

Agreements expire... I've lost track of all the bass brands that Chuck Rainey has endorsed.Getting back to Marcus, though: for strings, DR Marcus Miller Fat Beams have been around for years, but I now see Dunlop Marcus Miller Super Brights at Sweetwater (who no longer sell Fat Beams). I assume the DR relationship ended.

Wasn’t Marcus still playing Fenders at the same time as the Sires on stage?

Or a front-access battery compartment?
That would be a fail, IMO. I’d rather undo 4 screws and remove a plate than have one or two of those cheap-o plastic battery doors on the front of my bass.Or a front-access battery compartment?
