For you guys who appreciate metal as a primary art-form - FM and I are going to do a metal concert while she's here. Local band kind of thing. We're trying to figure out the protocol. Do we have to spit blood and flash them so they know we like their music?

There must be a thread on TB somewhere already - "what's the best etiquette for Metal?"

Hmmmm....so I wonder if that should be a straight hair or curly hair kind of night then. Black t-shirt easy - I have a whole closet full of those. Mostly with band, poker, club, or Harley graphics.

Again, I have to say TB is your friend. Try searching "What's the best hairstyle for Metal?" i'm sure it's out there and well discussed.

A few years ago I was bumming because I was working so much that I could only get out my bass for an hour or two every 3 or 4 months. I recorded this after one of those 14 hr construction days because I didn't have it down on any format.

Anyhow, I dug up this vid for you Tat because I know you will find the right person to share your life with. I wrote the tune for that exact moment when someone finds their soul mate.

It's not metal, a little hokey, but it is from the heart as any song should be.

Tomorrow I'm going to the store to buy a cool shirt. I mean, I don't even have one of the Tat and Furry ones I saw in the post.

I have a T with our band on it. A hoodie too which kept me cozy while I recuperated last night. Not sure I have a pic of one but I'll try to dig one up.

Sounds groovy Jim! Are those Darkstars in your Lakland? My computer speakers suck so I can't hear the full glory of them but I'm liking what I hear. Nice work.

They are the new Lakland pickups. Very versatile. Just about every tone lurks within.

Know what I seem to noticing lately? It's no secret that men generally like the idea of two (or more ) woman going at it, and women generally roll their eyes at us and wonder why that would turn us on. As in, "Yeah, that's really what all women do when none of you men are around. ".

And yet, women seem to really get off on the idea of men dressing up as women and totally girl-ing it up. I'm not complaining, but just wondering if I'm way off the mark or am I really seeing what I think I'm seeing?

Cuz when we're just hanging out without the guys, we have way more important things to do than get it on. But if I'm hanging with my guy and some girls too, well, sometimes we'll give the guys a little something to watch just to really drive them crazy.
Not making the connection with appreciating drag queens though...lol
