Badass II
The Badass II is the greatest bridge of all time in my opinion . Second only to maybe a bass tremolo bridge lol. However, since they are used, and the prices are soooooo high according to what I have seen, i'm not quite sure that the Badass II is in the equation. Now I've heard good things about the omega bass bridge, so I may try that. I'm looking to switch all the hardware on the bass to gold, to match the tuners.

The Omega Bridge basically is a Badass II copy
Made out of necessity really since Badass II either aren’t being made or production can’t meet demand.
The other reason I mentioned Badass II is that Dean has used these on certain basses like the jeff Berlin signature and the Edge Pro
Some of these are being sold without notches in the saddle
Omega vs. Badass II bass bridge – Is the Omega worth getting? | eBass
I also like the ABM high mass brides Dean uses on the MIK Hillsboro basses

The are massive and definitely help with tone and sustain

Badass II Allparts Lic. Omega 4 string grooved bass bridge GOLD 4 Fender Precision, Jazz, Telecaster

That is a good deal. I'm not currently starting to amass the parts yet, because I currently have money tied up elsewhere, but if this is still available, I may go with that. Like I said i'm looking to upgrade that edge 09. It feels about as good as more expensive things that I've owned/played, but it's sound just doesn't cut it anymore. I think the bridge and pickup swap should fix my sound issues(hopefully).

Just ordered Dean DMT USA HOT & VINTAGE PUPS for my Juggernaut

Figured I’d do an upgrade but keep it 100% Dean for now.

More when I receive them after they make them for me.
They’re still making these since they have other basses with J pups. They are no longer on the Dean website so I had to deal directly with Scott Fraser who is great to deal with.

$59 each

Just thought I’d share this in case anyone else is interested.

I've just started to play more after a long absence, and I was blown away by the quality of these basses for the very reasonable cost. Like a psycho, I ended up with six of them. Two Juggernauts and Four Paramounts (two rosewood, two maple). Let us know how the pickups work out. In my defense, historically basses that were this inexpensive were nowhere near this nice. The necks are absolutely fantastic. I couldn't believe it. Really.

You bought 5 more basses since your first post here with your Paramount?

All at the $299 price?

Whoa! I might have to step up my game a little.

How are they? All equivalent in build & finish quality?

Good job!

Yep. Three more paramounts and two juggernauts. All were $299. I did look around at other basses, but none were nicer than the Deans and all cost more. I admit I am particularly in love with the necks. To me, they are extremely fast and comfortable- and the build quality and finish were light years ahead of many basses costing double or triple that money. I mean, to me, everything was just great. The neck, the finish the hardware- you name it. Now I feel like I have a decent collection of basses, they're just mostly Deans.

I own 60 basses currently with one on the way from Canada.
Over 1/3 are Deans among Fender, Gibson, Gretch, Rickenbacker, Ibanez, Epiphone, Dillion, Eastwood, Warwick, Peavey, Tune, Schechter, Kona, Michael Kelly, Jay Turser, Takamine, Stagg, Samick, and an oddball by ‘Pairadice’

The necks on the Deans are great, especially the satin finish ones on the Juggernaut, Hillsboro and Jeff Berlin bolt on necks.

These have officially been discontinued within that last week or so. Both the Paramount and the Juggernaut. Read a few posts above this when you get a chance. Selling at GC and GC affiliated on-line websites for $299

Not good.
Back to $499 on GC and all its affiliates.
Musicians Friend, Music 123 and Brasswind & Woodwind.

Apparently you just made the cut, because they're back to $499, which makes no sense to me for something that has recently been discontinued unless they sold a huge amount of them within the last 2 weeks.

I agree. The necks on the Deans are just fabulous. I don't own 60 basses.... yet. Bet that's quite a collection. My first "good" bass was a Gibson RD Artist that I bought new in 1979. That thing had a pretty nice neck, but man it weighed a ton. It was an early active bass that I kept for a long time but sold about 15 years ago because it was just sitting under my bed. Had a white Rick' 4001 that I sold long ago too.

Well, I bought six of them and I can't be the only one buying. Those are great basses for that money. Heck, they're great basses for three times that money.
