The three different neck/fingerboard combinations make them all sound quite different from each other. Even more so than I had expected.

Just don't ask me which one is my favorite. I don't have a three-sided coin to flip!

Dingwall/Nordstrand loaded representin’. The Big Singles will fit better depth-wise in a Dingwall with more up and down adjustment than the taller Fatstacks. I’m pleasantly surprised how how dead silent they are, even solo’d.

I’m looking for a DW 5er (an SP5 would probably be perfect but not the only option) and have reluctantly offered my SJ/P4 up in the classifieds.

Well after a couple of weeks of honeymoon time (we were alone on an island somewhere) I’m quite happy to say that there was a very happy ending to my above post.
A very fine gentleman from Canada’s beautiful west coast responded to me with a opportunity that I did not anticipate getting.
I have not had a Bass gear deal that felt so naturally right as this one. (You changed my life with this a bit, Bruce, so thanks for that)
So I’ve been a bit slow with pics but here are a couple.
For the curious, DG TC in it.
I’m ecstatic. All the Superlatives apply.
I don’t know what I did to deserve such an awesome Bass (well I sold a bunch of stuff to make it happen) but I’m tickled.

That is an outstanding bass. An early Z3. Ash body. Congratulations! Wenge fingerboard?

Yes, Wenge f/b on a Maple lam neck. The Bass is 2015 ish I believe. The pre is dated as such.

Nice, I was looking at adding a couple of Big Singles underneath the split coil on my Super P, but I don’t have enough room. Will probably end up adding one Big Split in the bridge position.
