wow funny thing.... the show is basically a contest with people that owns AirBnB in Australia....the AirBnB that that Dingwall was in was supposedly provided to guest to use.... pretty crazy to allow complete strangers access to that.
It's reality TV, I highly doubt that a $10k plus irreplaceable bass would be left out for regular punters to screw around with.

That's pretty cool, thanks for the help! My current main bass is a warwick $$ and I really love the series/para/single switches on it, I'd want something similar on the Dingwall.
I'll put my deposit down tomorrow through bassdirect, hoping it's not last on the list from the factory
Just be aware that current Dingwall pickups can't be wired in single coil-mode. Since they are P-type, split coil pickups under the hood, the only options are series or parallel. Just something to keep in mind before you start modifying.
Interesting, I actually thought they were humbuckers! That's fine though, I don't mind if it's a different beast to the $$, maybe I can justify keeping both

GAAAAH! I want that, but in solid pink. No swirl needed. I want maximum pink, here. 6-string, of course. I'm on the edge of my seat, waiting for an answer on the FB post.
