This is my SPJ5 with the Dingwall reverse P tort guard. I don't know what color most Dingwall tort guards are, but this one is fairly reddish in color.

BeautifulHere it is with the original pickguard. If I find a wenge neck SJ5, this one will become available.

Thanks guys. Used Canadian Dingwalls are getting harder and harder to find, Supers even more so. Trust me, if a SJ5 doesn't pop up, it won't hurt my feelings to keep this one. I'm not unhappy with it, just like my SJ5XXX better.Stunning!
I chose:
1) B
2) BM Series
3) M
4) BN Parallel
5) MN Series
6) N
Keep in mind that due to the limitations with wiring it two are going to have to be in common. i.e. 4 & 5 in my example. Having tried this setup and it's 500+ cominations I was going to go back and wire the all three option but since my D-bird landed Friday, I've been quite busy.
PS I've been favoring N & MN Series.
Edit: that's a passive tone stack with volume on top.

You might want to check with @xnewyorka for a wenge neck SJ5.Here it is with the original pickguard. If I find a wenge neck SJ5, this one will become available.

Thanks, not really looking for a 3x. The wenge necks add weight, put an extra PUP on it and it starts to get out of my comfort zone. You might want to check with @xnewyorka for a wenge neck SJ5.

Someday I'll get to try out a wenge/wenge neck. (sigh)
Hmmm, I may need to be flexible on the wenge.....Hey Thumper
If this becomes available I’ll be interested. I’ve got a SuperJ but it’s got a maple neck on it.
Interesting that they chose Dingwall and Warwick to add to the historically iconic basses. Reflective of their artist roster perhaps?

Now that Darkglass will be working more closely with Spector, that may change. And no spectors in there.
Ah, I stand corrected Nate. I just hear so much about wenge/wenge. I was focused on the shot from the back. This puppy is Wenge/Zirocote!
