You're very welcome.
Btw, I took possession of your 'ol D-bird last Friday. WOW!!!![]()
Do you happen to have any sound clips or recordings with that bass? Here it is with the original pickguard. If I find a wenge neck SJ5, this one will become available.

The only recordings I have are of the SJ5XXX during gigs. I have only gigged once with the SPJ5, and it wasn't recorded. I'm not set up to record at home.Do you happen to have any sound clips or recordings with that bass?![]()
Unfortunately, there are no quality videos/recordings of a SPJ on youtube. The only recordings I have are of the SJ5XXX during gigs. I have only gigged once with the SPJ5, and it wasn't recorded. I'm not set up to record at home.
That said, it won't sound any different than any other SPJ5 with ash body, maple neck/board, Dingwall nickels, and bridge FDV, which I believe all are being shipped with now.
I'm cooling on the idea of selling, I won't part with it without a non-Fattie SJ5 replacement being available, and so far no dice.

Do you find that the P-tone blends nicely with the FDV?
Interesting!I do, I also think it has more girth than the FD3, so I left the FDV installed. Evidently Dingwall agrees since that is how the new SPJ5s are being shipped. The FDV is still not usefull solo'd (for me), but neither was the FD3. That's why there is no bridge solo setting in my SJ5xxx.
If your ABHS has s/p switches, and they are solderless, it's just a matter of putting the middle wires where the bridge wires were in the s/p switches and vice versa, if not, someone else has to answer. How easy would it be to wire my ABHS so that the 4th position (bridge only) is swapped with middle only? I never use bridge pickup only on any bass apart from Stingrays...
I received the 2019 Canadian price list from Dingwall. I can’t find a way to attach the PDF here. The Canadian D Bird 5 starts at $4725CAD.Has anyone seen the 2019 price list? Any new options or changes on Canadian models besides the 5 string Dbird?

Gotcha. Took it downIn general I don't think they like the actual price list posted publicly
There’s no listing for a Super PJ5. It must require selecting one of the following and add a pickup. How much do SPJ5s start for (2019)?
