Thanks guys. Used Canadian Dingwalls are getting harder and harder to find, Supers even more so. Trust me, if a SJ5 doesn't pop up, it won't hurt my feelings to keep this one. I'm not unhappy with it, just like my SJ5XXX better.

I practice seated at home 75% of the time and the SJ5XXX is a little more comfortable playing that way.

Not that I have any - I was just confused with all the back and forth and who was looking for what. I think I figured it out:

So you have a SJ5 P/FD3 AND a SJ5XXX but you're looking for a wenge neck SJ (any) as they both have maple necks?

Bingo. The SPJ5 also has an FDV, but is an SP5, not an SJ5. I just prefer SJ5s, the wenge neck is desired but not a must have.

Interesting! What makes it more comfortable for you?
Do you also feel that wat when playing standing up?

I'm debating on placing an order on either a SJ5 or SP5 and one thing I've noticed is that the body of my Lakland P feels more comfortable than my SJ. A SuperP XXX would be nice :D

For me, when playing seated, the body contour of the SJ5XXX brings the headstock closer, so less reach. Other than that, it's sixes. Just a matter of wanting a wenge neck which looks unlikely. So if I end up keeping the SPJ5, it's great, I smile every time I see it at practice and I never play seated there.
