I don’t believe the ABs and supers are dual density. The Z I think is the primary model in which this is implemented. The Sklar has N ash and alder, Primas use 2 different wood slabs as well and Zs can be ordered with 2 wood combo bodies. The Z seems to be the only model stock focused on the dual density ASH body.
No. He has a model with them as well. He's stated his dingwall is what he'll use on tours. His P and warwick mostly in studio.
I love the look of my NG with black hardware and black blocks. I would absolutely prefer real inlays to stickers, but I'll take what I can get.
Yeah, I’m sure he has a variety of basses.

The Sklar. Which recently a fretless was made and they’ve done a couple different pick up configurations assuming with sklars approval. He’s been repping his dingwall pretty hard lately from what I’ve seen. Even had that auction recently.
And he’s probably got another 50 basses at home!

Clarification: He uses both the Dingwall and Warwick basses live depending on the gig. When he plays with Judith Owen, for instance, he uses the Warwick rather than the Dingwall.
Years ago some guys I knew hired Lee to play bass on their album. They booked out the studio for a couple of days and got him accommodations. He got off the plane, knocked the whole album out in a couple hours, got his check and got back on the plane. The bass work on that album was outstanding.
I assume he would depending on the gig/song. I didn’t say anything contradictory to that did I?
I appreciate Sheldon & Co for their amazing design sense and color choices, but I'm the kind of person who wears socks with sandals, checks with stripes, etc.
The hat in my profile pic isn't some kind of weird joke. I'm just that much of a nerd- tt was my favourite because it kept my neck from getting sunburnt. My wife isn't overly conscious of clothing styles either. But she was so offended when I wouldn't get rid of the hat that she took it outside, set it on fire, and gave it a Viking funeral in the barbecue pit.
That said, while I have nothing against block markers or stickers, I could never put those on a bass without modding them with a ruler and a razor blade first.
The way the one at the 24th fret doesn't fit the space properly (and some of the others, depending on the bass) would drive me absolutely insane, and I don't seem to be OCD in any other ways.
Nope. I quoted the wrong person somehow. There was an earlier post by @Nuage420 that I was attempting to clarify:

That’s exactly right. When I was putting that one on I had to reset it a couple times to cover the dot under the high strings at the 24th fret. Bothered me for half a second, then I forgot about it. But I would gladly pay an upcharge for real block inlays, factory installed, if it was an option.
Probably not a whole lot less than what you paid back then.
Probably more then what you paid for it unless she’s showing some “mojo” since then. Every time that beauty shows up I start day dreaming.
Actually it's in great condition, but not seeing anything like it out there on the block I'm having a hard time gauging a price. You think 3200 US is about right?
