Most of the extra length for the B string is at the bridge end, so it’s not an extra 3” at the nut. So it’s more like the reach you’d expect with a 35” scale length.Fellow Dingwallers, I have a question. Dingwalls seem to be in short supply here so I can't get my hands on one to try it out. I'm quite curious about the ergonomics; are the 37-34 5 string versions' necks noticeably longer than, say, a regular J bass neck? Is it much harder to play in that sense? How's the neck profile, would you compare it to a J, P, Stingray, whatever. Thanks!
