It was actually a Buy It Now @ $1500. I was going to post the link here and on the Dingwall Forum, but it sold before I had a chance to. If I recall correctly, it was up for all of 3 hours before it sold.

Exactly what I thought. That ding on the hip, I got carried away and put it there with my signet ring.

I can't believe I've waited for this to pop up and I've missed it.

Realized something as soon as I went to drill one of my existing knobs to fit the rotary - it's a D-shaft. So I have to buy a knob (cutting a D into an existing knob is not trivial). Oh well. Should have some new F# recordings hopefully this weekend, if I get some free time.

I've used knobs with round holes on D shafts. If you crank the set screw good and tight, and if the switch isn't too stiff, it can work. A bit of light duty thread lock on the set screw and/or a small shim helps.

I'd rather just do it right, especially in the off chance that I end up selling it some day down the line. I'd hate to sell it knowing that an incorrect knob is on there

I saw one just about a week or so ago, a pretty green flamed maple AB1.5. They were asking something like $3300 for it, and it's gone... so I guess it sold?
