EBMM StingRay Special Club

Im loving the Mike Lull. Active jazz is my favorite bass, and that one is a beast!

The Stingray is great. It’s really well made and feels amazing. But next to the Lull, the tone pales in comparison. The more I played it the more I realized it won’t get gigged. So I decided to send it back to Sweetwater. Good news is, it’ll be back up for sale soon, and likely with a discount. So someone can get a great deal on a fantastic bass.
Man, I hate to hear that! No doubt the Lull is very tough competition.

Both the Classic single-pup Stingray tone and the Jazz bass both-pups 100% (or 50/50 balance) are very near and dear to my heart. That’s why I lohave to have one of each.

No doubt, you couldn’t be in better shape with that oh so beautiful M5V. If I just had to scale back to a single bass, it would be my M5V.

Bit I’m glad I don’t have to and won’t have to for the foreseeable future….:D

Enjoy the Lull! I know you will!

I have a thing for leopard print and white/black contrast like stripes and my dream bass from a young girl was a 2band StingRay white / maple /black pickguard.
White with black accents is very old school nod to days of funk, rock, and punk gone by. I love it. But something about white sparkle and gold just looks more elegant and classy to me. White blocks would look great with the gold and sparkle. Black blocks and hardware for the old school classic vibe.
Classy vs classic. Either way, it will look great.

Thanks. It was actually a tough decision… and one of the reasons you shouldn’t buy multiple basses in a short period of time, I guess.

I’ll still have other basses but I have a feeling the Lull is going to be a permanent fixture for a long time.

I'll always remember with regret when I could have ordered a new Lull for $1500 but it seemed like too much money.:crying:

I still can't believe I got my new old stock Aqua Sparkle 5H for $1600 just over 2 years ago...

I am potentially interested in a lined fretless 5H but want to wait until someone buys one and decided to sell it! Just don't think I can do new prices

So someone out there please buy a Grape Crush 5H fretless and then decide to sell it!
I’ll flip ya for it!….:roflmao:

(Just kidding. It sounded funnier in my head!….:D)

April is almost upon us. Design experience will open up sometime during the month. Who is planning on ordering and/or what would you like it to be?
I would love to get a 5H or HH fretless. There’s a color that looks very much like my first stingray that I foolishly let go years ago. It would be very cool to reincarnate that old fella.

This just shipped y’all :)
