As someone who’s made many hundreds or thousands of cables over the last 25 years of owning a studio... Beware the silent plug! Not saying don’t use them. But I would suggest trying different kinds. The Neutrik ones with rubber jackets are ok, but they “stick” and get crappy in a show environment. They also will not work with all jacks and tolerances (I’ve got at least 5 of 50 guitars here that don’t work with them.)
There are other kinds. There’s a big barrel one that has a much better switch mechanism, but it’s... big.
If you go the neutrik slim barrel route, I’d advise grabbing some fader lube and treating the connector every few weeks. Pm me if you want pics.
