Whoa…this is pretty exciting too!

your Rumble Club Wiki page

Tube with a NEO 15”. B-15 anyone?

Thank you, @BigDrew, for cleaning sharing your 7ender News with us! Biggie, your news has led to a new Rumble 800 COMBO & ACB 50 section on your Rumble Club Wiki page. This is great news that Fender is still thinking about us Rumblers and still making exciting new gear for us!

Thanks again, Drew, for keeping your musical ear to the ground and for sharing with our great community. I still haven't found a Fender announcement or any articles from the industry press about these new amps!

Rumble On!

I've been asked to play bass for a good friend's memorial service. One of the songs is "We Believe" by the Newsboys. The bass line is played by a keyboard, but I need to know how I can approximate that tone with an Ibby SR405 though my Studio 40. Any thoughts?

Excellent question, rev. Unfortunately I can't say that I've run into a keyboard tone on my Studio, ... ... yet, ... ... that I am aware of. And, just now looking through Droopy_TX's Presets DECODER File under the TONE APP Support section of your Rumble Club Wiki page, the only thing that looks to me like it might possibly help is the Octobot stompbox using "synth-like octave down and octave up"???

Has anyone else here gotten a keyboard bass tone from your Rumble Studio or Stage?
.

Well, I think I'm on the right track thanks to your suggestion. I started with Synth Madness, replaced the OD with a light fuss, the amp to Bassman, and the step to a light flange. I'll post up a recording when I get the chance.

Good luck Reverend. Looking forward to hearing what you came up with. G-Dog is a font of knowledge for the studio 40.

Gentlemen, please, your adoration, although greatly appreciated, is, unfortunately, misplaced. I merely stand on the shoulders of giants, such as @Droopy_TX and several others here, who really know the Studio & Stage inside and out, much better than I do. And I want to hereby thank them and, indeed, all seekers of truth and tone here who ask, share, and discuss in peace and civility! :)

Thank you, thank you all here who make this such a great community! :D

You are a humble rumbler. I have a question about the Bluetooth function on my studio 40. I am sure I have seen posts on this topic in the past but can't seem to locate them. I like to play with backing tracks, connecting my amp to my tablet through Bluetooth. It always connect fine but frequently when I go from one track to the next the amp freezes. Sometimes it comes back on after a minute or so but while it is still connected to the tablet there is no audio. I usually have to restart the amp to get it working again. Any guidance would be appreciated.

A. Be sure the wi-fi on your Studio is turned off. It should be turned on only when actively updating the firmware, then immediately turned off again. That is the only function of the wi-fi. Otherwise it can interfere with the Bluetooth functionality when it periodically pings a wireless router.

2. Be sure you don't already have a phone or tablet with the Tone App connected to your Studio. Bluetooth is not a good multitasking connection. the TONE APP Support section, please, but not both.

¥. If it is only when changing between tracks, it may be something in the switching of the streaming device causing the problem. Others have reported such problems that have been fixed only by using a cable from the streaming device to the Rumble's Aux In.

That's all I can think of to help, right now. I highly recommend all Stage & Studio users to peruse, browse and, in all respects, be aware of your Rumble Club Wiki page of it can interfere with the Bluetooth functionality. That is where you'll find links to the accumulated knowledge, wisdom, and practicalities of these fantastic bass modeling amplifiers.

Yeah, I was switching videos using my Samsung Tablet. It connects to the amp easily and plays the first track fine. When I switch it locks up for a bit, when it comes back the video plays without audio. There is also a brief lag. When I plug in to my laptop it streams smoothly with no lag. I'm going to keep it this way and reconnect the tone app.

I only use Bluetooth for control with the Fender. The Spark does audio and control simultaneously so my iPad is almost always connected to that. My practice rig at the moment is my pedalboard feeding the Rumble and Spark in stereo.

It is a super amp. I love the stereo effects loop and the rear-panel connectivity. I don’t typically use any effects other than reverb very often since my pedalboard does everything I want. I have played with the amp a bit, though, and have tried all of the built-in effects. I’ve got several amp/cab/effects presets stored if I ever want to use the Rumble by itself. The cabinet choices are great to have, wish the Spark had that feature.

For those who use the Tone App and need to convert Clock Knob Settings (CKS between 12 and 5 or between 7 and 12) to the Rumble Stage/Studio numbered knob settings (Between 1.0 and 10.0) the following calculation formulas can give a precise result and can be easily implemented in a Excel spreadsheet:

=IF(AND(CKS>=7;CKS<=12); 0.9*CKS - 5.3; 0.9*CKS + 5.5)
