I haven't seen that AJ shape one before. What is that top wood?!?
That's a great chestnut top. I believe that that EMP II also has a croth walnut back (see attached pic). The back of this one is what made me crave a crotch walnut top for my Fodera.

you're right - that is the Bass that they called "The Beast" (with the crotch walnut back...
the side where I've found those two says that the top wood on the AJ style bass is a Brazilian RW top
