The time until the build date gives me a time period and allows budgeting of cash and time to sell off the, ahem less superior bass that right now is an outcast. Into the EBay abyss you go.

Actually wasn't even aware that I bought one until I got it in my hands!
I picked up my bass in Chicago I stayed at my uncles house without amp for 2 weeks, so I was noodling without amp... went to store one day to "try out the amps" (to see how my bass sounds).
it was kind of fun... and kind of stressful

Dude in the back looks well stressed-out, reminds of my first trip to the Fodera shop except I didn't have Roseanne Barr at the wheel
I had an Emperor 5 to ease the pain while I was waiting for an Imperial 6, it helped a little but I still got pretty anxious..
