I'm digging the TIs on the SB1 can run it wide open has a really strong mid voice now, with a Woody attack and more "envelope" with a post attack Bloom and shortened sustain that makes it even more of a pleasure to play. Yet to gig with it but I have faith that it will translate favorably.
The dryness of the last few months caused a bit of fret sprout, so while I had the file and sandpaper out I gave the frets a quick level and dress. SB1 is growing on me quite a bit.

Just need to clean the pickguard a bit, the plastic was so stuck on it that it left a bit of glue on it.

If you have G&L do the mod, they will side mount the jack and put the tone knob where the jack used to mount to the pick guard. Greenie's owner didn't want the extra hole in the body and didn't like the look of three knobs on the pick guard, so he ordered the G&L without the tone mod and had a local luthier install the stacked knob.Lol! No tone mod... I'm starting to think that's the way to go.
Something to think about if you are having it built to order.

Congrats, man! Ordered my kilo in September. It's still in progress....
I have been playing my LB-100 for about 6 months. I thought it would be a niche instrument. To my surprise, it has become my main ax on stage and in the studio. When I first plugged it in, and played alone, I was mightily disappointed. The sound was not what I expected or a full as the my Fender American Elite Jazz or my Lakland Hollowbody. Then I played with people and in the studio and then I was blown away. In a group situation, it was stronger with less volume then both of the others, both on stage and in the studio. Now, unless and home alone, I play the LB-100. Great sounding and playing instrument. I am glad I caught the p-bass bug from Scott Devine of Scott's Bass Lessons. I am so glad I persisted after the initial disappointment.
Are those finger extensions?

I already have the silver SB-2 so I would just do a stacked pot myself if I decided to go that route, but I'm probably going to leave it. I sounds pretty mean, especially through my Damnation MBD-1, clean blended, and not too heavy on the distortion gain.Good info for others that might be planning on a new build though.

I know now, that along with my Musicman Cutlass, I have now the two best basses I could get. One 4 strings P-bass and one 5-strings bass
