Which one of you bozos bought the yellow SB-1 off of Reverb? I was secretly hoping it may last for a few more months. Luckily, I downloaded the pictures! Congrats to the new owner!

Heh.

I'd been waiting on the right deal on a Stingray for a long time (I'm a lefty and I'm cheap, so this had been going on for a couple years). The 2018 Stingrays looked sick and I got super excited... but MusicMan ended up not offering it in lefty. I knew about the kiloton, but frankly I found it a bit ugly. But the SB-2 exceeded all my expectations, as did the service of the shop where I bought it. They had a lefty kiloton in stock, so on my birthday I took the day off work to visit and play it. I played it for about two hours and fell in love. Ordered one on the spot.

So yeah, if you're on the fence, definitely don't play one.

I'm in the same boat but I am really leaning towards an L2k.

When i first got my lb-100 last month, I didn't think i was going to like it. (It Had the factory daddario rw strings on).
I replaced them with light gauge set of chromes,and the bass sounds fabulous with them.

Ha! I got mine about 2 months ago. Mine has a 1.5" nut.
Balls out bass and MY MAIN PLAYER! Truly everything I wanted in a P bass.

Cool!
Mine has the 1 5/8" nut,12" radius. (Would prefer the 1.65",but this works).
It has a really different character than any of the P basses i've played before, loving it.

So, it is amazing. Northeast Music Center, Scranton, PA. Arrived 2 weeks early and it's stunning. The shop, Grant and Jack, shipped it out the day they got it and gave it the inspection ok.

It is the only bass I play anymore.

Love it! Looks almost like by limited edition BABE (blackburst with ebony board w/no dot markers). I'm not one to have a black fetish but the black on those is fantastic.

At the time I recall G&L saying they were discontinuing Ebony, but have since used it a few times. Something like that. Been years since I saw this info.

The Ebony looks dull and dry in the pic for some reason.

I just ordered mine with ebony (fretted-no markers). So at least at the moment they have it.
