G&L Club Part 7

Me too. All of my basses are bursts (three sunbursts plus a honeyburst and a cherryburst) and the ones that have pickguards are all tort. For that matter, four of the five are also strung with flats. Old school! :D

And yet, for some reason, those metal flakes finishes elevate my heart rate. Can't explain why.

What about the 21st fret that we saw in the prior pic, Todd? That's one of the biggest things to get my attention. If that is the direction that G&L is headed in, then I can almost understand the elimination of the JB-2. I did call out G&L directly on FB, when they posted a MJ5 in red sparkle, for the model not showing on the website, asking if they are doing the In-n-Out Burger "secret menu" thing. There has been no response, there.

I'm not sure. I really don't get too picky about numbers of frets. I don't spend too much of my time on the upper end. Additional upper frets are just nice-to-haves. I spend most of my time in the "money range."

It will be super nice. I'm looking forward to a NewBassDay thread from you! :)
Thank You
It might be a while since Ash blanks just came in.
I’m in no rush  However I will be sure to do so.
I guess it’s ok to share this now.
