I'm pretty sure current G&L's are 3/4" or 19mm at the bridge.

Don’t think so—at least not the L and M series. Just measured those at the bridge and posted above: 17.5 mm.

I`m basically a P bass guy. I have the chance to buy a LB100 Fullerton Deluxe for a good price. It was made in 2018. I cant play it before buying but have watched some YT stuff and it looks like a cracking bass.

So LB owners, would you recommend it to a Fender P bass player?

Get it! I love mine.

Tried both. Preferred inner. Inner had more of a mid range sweetness in any position, where outer got kinda scooped with both, kinda tubby with the neck only (though not bad), and nasal with the bridge only.

Do you find the inner coil mode closer tonally to parallel?

If the front coil sound of the Kiloton is any indication, I bet inner coils sound awesome on the L series basses.

Sweet! My G&L bass lineup consists of those models, plus an SB-2, all with rosewood fretboards. Those three look great, but I'm especially partial to that green JB.

As a disclaimer, I sold the bass a little while ago, so I’m going off memory here...

With both pickups on, the outer coils give you some of that jazz bass scoop. Without being able to blend pickup volumes, you’re kind of locked into that tone, which wasn’t my favorite. With the inner coils and both pickups on, it was more of a fat finger style tone, but worked well with a pick, too. I don’t know if I could say it is close to the parallel mode, as I remember the parallel mode to be a little brighter and having a tiny bit of scoop when using both pickups. When I had that particular L-2000, I played in series mostly, then single and parallel probably the least.

Having had an M and multiple Ls, the only time I’ve missed a blend on the L is when playing the single coil outers. Though it could easily be a “don’t know what you’re missing” thing.

Yeah like most things it is a preference. I just really like being to blend just off center either direction.

Agreed on that. An M with the blend just off-centre toward the bridge is really sweet.
