Okay, okay! It's uploading now. I've been pulling some late nights trying to get this baby online asap. I actually READ some of YT's guidelines for maximizing the performance of files created in Final Cut, so hopefully there will be some noticeable improvement there.

Please remember.... YT takes a while to fully process the audio, so those of you that just have to be the first one to watch it are not going to hear the best quality.... give it a couple of hours.

You know, there has been a lot of buzz about this amp (no, the amp doesn't buzz... :)) and I've been pretty excited about it and have been shooting my mouth off about how great it is... but listen and judge for yourself!

For those of you that feel the Shuttles (Max especially) are confusing, or too complex (well, really, it's an amp, not the space shuttle, but I digress....) this amp offers an incredibly simple user interface. FOR THOSE WHO ARE ABOUT TO ROCK.... this amp will really blow your mind. It's hard to capture the feel of an amp when you're trying to keep your audio levels to -6dB, but the tone of the overdrive is unmistakable. You'll hear. All the talk about "3 dimensionality" is not just marketing hype, this amp really feels like a great tube amp, but you need to stand in front of it while cranking to get the full effect.

Woo hoo!

Can't wait!!! :D

I saw you posted in this thread and was hoping you dropped a link in already and I'd be the first to get to hear it. :p

"Facemelt" isn't my thing but I like it otherwise.

I'll be comparing one to my Shuttle 9 when I see one locally but I'm pretty sure I'll be adding one to my rig in the next year.

Edit: Nice job Ed, I especially like the flipping back and forth between the Streamliner and the Shuttle, it really demonstrates the point.

I was afraid this was going to be balls to the wall tube a la Ampeg but thankfully it can still give a pretty good hi-fi tone. Not as good a slap sound as the Shuttle, IMO, but since I very rarely slap this is not a problem. I really like the warmer walking/finger style tones; while not as hi-fi as the Shuttle it gives it more character. I'd wager that this would work perfectly fine in a jazz gig, so long as it's not a fusion set or one that requires super clarity.
