I would love to visit my daughter in the hospital and see the little one, but with the immuno-suppressants I get, there is NO WAY the hospital would allow me to step 1 foot in the door.

The good news is that mom and baby are doing well and he was born at University Hospital. That means that he IS a Bearcat!

Congrats! Grandkids are THE BEST!!! (I have 7) It is my wish, nay, my DUTY as a grandpa to do whatever I can to get each one into some sort of mischief to p!$$ off their parents! Waiting for the youngest three to get old enough...:thumbsup::D:cool:

Yeah, we are, too. No work for anyone in this household. We're a laid back crew, anyhow, so just chillin' at home until we get the okay to do more than go buy groceries or walk in the park. We're getting fat.

Any grumpy old fart who does not lockdown voluntarily should be court ordered to do so and be restricted to a diet of carrots only :D

I saw him play one show in the early 80s where he only played guitar for the encore. It was a LP, because how else are you gonna play Whippng Post?

I work the night shift at a USPS processing facility in upstate NY. We're all still (supposed to be) on the job...rain, snow, sleet, dark of night, virus, etc. Plenty of people calling in so we're busy...those of us that are here anyway. There are cases of COVID around here but nobody I know personally. Even so, I've not been able to purchase TP for two weeks at my local big chain grocery store. *** is up with that anyway? Who knew TP would be a thing to hoard? That's the last time my wife will make fun of my glove compartment full of fast-food napkins...:smug::thumbsup::cool:

I saw Zappa & the Mothers in the Village in NYC in 66 or 67 (I think he was playing a hollow or semi-hollow body). That show consisted of mostly "Absolutely Free" which was either about to come out or was recently released (CRS you know). Saw him again in Baltimore in 69 with The Buddy Miles Express, Country Joe & The Fish, and Ten Years After. He was restricted by "the powers that be" to only play instrumentals. That dirty, filthy-mouthed, commie pinko stuff wasn't allowed under threat of jail. So after announcing that, instrumentals was what he did. I don't remember which guitar he played... because reasons.
