Had Christmas Dinner with the family at "Raglan Road"(Irish restaurant at WDW). In keeping with the spirit of the season I wore this jacket:

Made good today on the promise of a new bass for completing all 40 weeks of Ari Cap's Music Theory for the Bass Player cohort. It's an Acinonyx in Lake Placid Blue with a parchment pickguard. Expected to ship around the end of January.

Ordered so close to the winter Solstice Eve, too! But, expected to arrive before the vernal equinox? So what astronomical, or astral, or meteorological name might "the cat" carry?

The cat bass is slated to ship in late January — that's my 65th birthday waving at me from out there.

Imbolc, or Brigid's Day, is the first astrological cross-quarter that happens around 2 February and is celebrated on the first of the month. That festival marks the first day of spring. And while the first day of February doesn't look like spring, the gaining sunlight definitely feels like spring at the halfway point to the vernal equinox.

2021 is the year of the Ox. Maybe the Who should be on first.
