Yeah. I'm not so grumpy today having watched the Sharks beat the upstart Vegas Golden Knights this morning (my time) but I am out of commission with pyelonephritis in my remaining kidney. The antibiotics work wonders but I am still not up to much. Thanks for Talkbass for helping me pass my time.

You live in a beautiful country. I visited Helsinki while in the Navy in 1978. Our ship's soccer team got beat by a Finnish girls team. We were all hung over...what can I say?

What’s wrong with not saying anything if it’s not your favorite? It wasn’t even the point of the story. Can’t we know that many people like many sports and leave it at that? Why defend “your” sport? Do you have to not like something else to like what you like? On point I rarely play a P and SVT. Is it polite to say, “who cares about Ps and SVTs?” If asked if they are my fave I’d say yes or no. But southern manners? Your momma said don’t say anything if you don’t have anything nice to say.

The world needs a lot more of that kind of thinking. There's way too much "It's different, so it's wrong." these days.
Sometimes I find myself a little relieved that I won't be around too much longer, and that's a sad frame of mind to be in.
