Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

That’s what I’m saying...one on one, face to face. Personal interaction instead of looking at digital representation on a little screen, listening on earbuds. Sights in 3D, smells, complete immersion instead of whenever it’s convenient.

Getting whacked upside the head by your mentor If he thought you were slacking. No tape rewinds. Get it right, pay attention. Total immersion.

JimmynPage, Jaco Pastorius, Brent Mason, everyone who’s contributed to the art, didn’t learn their craft by taking shortcuts
Don’t mention smells around @BadExample . It can’t turn out good.

Thanks, we are all drinking a hell of a lot of water and some electrolytes.

Tomorrow's our Military Day, I put together a tribute show segment with 11 horses, 9 carrying flags.
Good luck tomorrow Andy.

What's the name of the show and is anyone recording it?
It's at the CA State Fair Horse Arena, in the past the VA has recorded it back when we brought in the remaining surviving Tuskegee Airmen and their families. That was an amazing exposure to history at the time the movie Red Tails" was released. Very nice folks who had earned the right to be bitter about their treatment but rose above it all.

That made me misty eyed Andy. God bless you for doing that show. The Tuskegee Airmen are a credit to the Air Force of the highest standards.

My lawn is just recently sown and it has sprouted quite nicely. Over the last weeks it has been very hot and dry so I put up an old water pump with a bottom valve at the end of the intake, zip tied it to a stake and drew the stake to the bottom of the lake next to our house. That pump runs all day when I am home and soon it is time to mow it the first time.

NOW GET OFF MY LAWN!

i’d say ‘break a leg’ but I would not wish that on any horse. :(

Have a great time Andy and I hope the audience has as much fun as you do. :)

Today is military day, we are sharing our camp with the California Military History Museum folks, all branches represented by their volunteers. Nothing like a camp full of friendlies. Had coffee with an ATC who is headed back to Afghanistan next week.

Ended up being 107F yesterday, we drank at least a bottle of water per hour for 11 hours plus some electrolytes.
