I discovered that, knowing about my licence, they were rehearsing with a new younger guy who was using my amp and my rehearsal bass. He was auditioned at the last gig under the guise of a friend sitting in with the band using both my amp and my bass. Not knowing, I showed him how to handle a six string. I feel so foolish.

I've run into insecure vocalists who routinely fire backing musicians for getting compliments.The strange thing is that at every gig I played with them, I received glowing complements on my playing from audience members. Thanks for the kind words. I just don't seem to be lucky with bands lately!!![]()
The only way I can handle it these days is not to do too much manual labor like hurking heavy boxes and cable around.
