Jaco Tribute Bass Build

Last night, I did a few corrections and tied up some loose ends.

Me posing in the mirror. This bass fits like an old sneaker. Even the strap is super comfy!

The only thing I have left is to scrape off the serial number on the headstock and getting the neck plate stamped/engraved.

Hey you look like a Lefty player in that photo.

That project is looking awsome. I am working on a similar build. My dad thinks I'm nutz for wanting to "relic" the body. I have been showing him some posts, this one especially-and the list of auctions for the Fender version. He couldn't believe the price on them. I'll have a thead on mine posted soon, I think you'll all find it amusing to say the least.

I loved the whole project...
I just spent about an hour reading it from the beginning to right here and I absolutely think it is amazing.
But, isn't the paint job towards the middle a little TOO light?

It might be. I had no real control over the finishing of the body. I think its pretty close to the $4k CS model. Besides, if any Jaco fan saw it, they'd instantly know what I was trying to acheive. :)
