So.... let me understand this. You are disappointed that this information is not available on his website (despite being able to call this guy directly on his personal phone). And on purely the basis of your expectations being unmet, you've extrapolated that this product is BS and snake oil. hmm.

Its amazing how upset some of you get if you even question the validity of whatever the "amp/bass/pedal de jour", you guys act like I'm insulting your mothers, grow up.
The fact stands the this Jule character is selling a digital amp he claims does 2500watts rms for over 2k and has provided nothing to back it up

You're not going to buy one even if he has a spec sheet, multiple lab tests and a papal decree...

You're insulting a very talented builder who knows his stuff (unlike a lot of people on TB), is a nice guy, and someone who is considered a friend by myself and others. So not my mother, but still not worthy of insults from a TB keyboard warrior...

What is amazing is how you lack any credible evidence but have decided it's a good idea to attack someones character and accuse them of being a fraud. And you are surprised that folks come to his defense? Do you have any reason to believe this amp isn't what it claims to be?

That aside there is a ton of great gear being developed for bass players, by small business owners. Who are working out of their basement or garage or maybe a small space in an industrial park. Their computer is at the end of their work bench or maybe the kitchen table, they answer emails while they eat lunch or dinner. They don't have a fancy website or a marketing budget. When you call they pick up the phone if they are not in the middle of making something.

There is nothing wrong with gear that is designed for a broad audience, manufactured thousands of miles away and sold in a big box store with a warranty card and spec sheet. But that doesn't make everything else snake oil.

Like just about every online disagreement I see no point in trying to explain something to somebody who has no interest in considering anything other than their position. When someone tries to explain a broader perspective and you take it as an opportunity to double down on a relatively indefensible position, you show yourself in a pretty unsavory light.

Feel free fellow adults to keep banging your head against the wall trying to get this guy to understand the basic principles at hand, which have been eloquently expressed multiple times, but I see it as fruitless and am moving on.

The F112's are each rated conservatively at 900 watts.
I think you are misunderstanding how the speaker is rated... The LF driver is a KappaLite 3012LF which is rated by the manufacturer at 450 watts "RMS". The mid and/or HF driver do not contribute significantly to this number. There is an artificial "program power" rating that is used by the industry as an attempt to represent the additional 3dB specified crest factor in the continuous power test (which only requires that the driver survives for 2 hours by the way), and the program power is defined as 2x the "RMS" (also called continuous power) rating.

The reason I bring this up is that it's clear from your comment of 900 watts being "conservative" that you do not understand how this number is derived, and that you need to compare the power rating of the speaker and the power rating of the amp based on the same units of measure.

So, assuming the amp is rated at 2500 watts RMS at 4 Ohm's, you need to compare the speaker using the same units. Therefore, 2 of the F112's wound be rated at 900 watts ("RMS", 4 ohm load) connected to an amp that is rated at 2500 watts "RMS" into the same 4 ohm load which represents a matching that I would be very cautious of. Even assuming the drivers can withstand an additional 3dB of crest factor (2x the "RMS power, IME that's beyond their mechanical power handling, and I'm very familiar with this driver), that would mean that the drivers could handle only 1800 watts whereas the amp can deliver 2500 watts. I don't see how the word "conservative" can be used to describe this situation.

I went through this math because I have seen a fair amount of misunderstanding over power handling between dissimilar power rating methods, as well as the damaged drivers that can result from such misunderstandings.

Reason 1)
Wouldnt be the first time an amp maker fudged power ratings

Reason 2)
Knowing reason one and finding no spec sheet on the site in reference to this amp seems fishy to me.

If you guy are willing to take this at face value, go ahead. I wouldn't but thats me. To each their own

1) builder is a known-quantity on the board, not some faceless company or jule-come-lately.

2) yeah, nobody ever stretched the truth on a spec sheet. If its in pdf form, it must be true!

To each their own would be: I dont trust it, I dont think I'll buy it. period.

For the record, and to clarify, this is decidedly NOT that. You've proposed publicly that a manufacturer is fudging numbers without anything to substantiate it. That is borderline slander, and is seriously lame, especially given that this information is a phone call away, and you refuse to make it. Put down the keyboard, and pick up a phone, and stop wasting everyones time to satisfy some childish expectation that information should be available to you in the exact way you want it.

PS all the information on this module is available on Invalid Link Removed, unless you'd prefer to continue to trash talk a builder.

Well its a good thing I don't seek out validation from the members of talkbass. Nobody is explaining the finer point of the operation of this amplifier, only that I need to contact the manufacture for specs on this product when the rest of the amp makers (from the big boys down to the boutique guys) have at least a basic spec sheet on their sites. My intention is not to offend Jule Monique, he makes good stuff, good enough to warrant the price tag? I can't really say yet as I've not spent enough time with one of his products to make that judgement.
What I will say I'm skeptical about most class d amplifiers, especially one that costs over 2k. Nothing has been offered to back up the claim that this amp does what it says it does other than the builder's reputation which doesn't cut it in my book. Sorry if that offends the talkbass keyboard warriors

Please provide me the example of me trash talking the builder. In my OP I said "this seems like snake oil"

"Reason 1) Wouldnt be the first time an amp maker fudged power ratings"

You just implied that Jule Potter is fudging power ratings, with ZERO to back that up. If you're going to make an allegation, at least have something in your corner other than "theres no spec sheet on his site, so he must be operating below board".

@primusfan1989 can we stop this nonsense now?

So let me get this straight, he takes a hypex board (240 euro/$260 board) and puts it in a cute little enclosure with his name on it and then charges over 2k?
Hypex Electronics webshop
Even if that board is as good as they say it is, thats a bit much for fabrication if you ask me(have a lot of manufacturing experience under my belt before anyone try to start the whole "cost of doing business" trip).

So after reading the spec sheet I might actually look into buying one of these boards (less than 2k watts though, I don't need that) myself to make one of my cabs powered, should be a fun project.

You'll need a power supply too, maybe a preamp and limiter section, a way of cooling things and making the whole build legal, and then cute little enclosures are surprisingly expensive these days. You might want to just look at the Hypex plate amps if doing a more moderately powered DIY powered cab. In any case, Jule obviously understands his market and prices accordingly, so this just sounds like "not for you", eh?
