I don’t think there is a better set for Monique than an IP112/NV115
My latest home setup with transformers and NOS tubes (except for the 6L6GC power tubes).
The HD212 is the best gear upgrade since Monique.

White knobs! Neck'd! Be careful putting that tube holder back in place on the rectifier tube. I've snapped off the glass tip in times past.

Bet that sounds great. How would you describe the 112/115 combo? Drake sixer looks good, too -- still digging it, I presume.
Absolutely love the P6. The NV really gives that mid range growl, especially good with flats for that old school sound. Not as great coaxing out modern tones. The exact opposite case for the IP very great modern sound not as great with the midrange bark. When you combine the two you get a happy medium and a little EQ goes a long way.
I've been searching one of these for a long time as they are pretty rare here in Germany. Now I'm a happy camper

I need to thank Jule for designing Monique to have the variety of functions. While I used it as a pure pre for years this lockdown I’ve enjoyed its richness through the front end of an AER Basic Performer. That 4x8 rig is so clean and sterile for my tastes it wouldn’t be an amp I’d own. It’s all kinds of loud within reason and professionally done. It’s cleaness makes for the perfect expression bed for the syrupy thick and hifi Monique.
So! Thank you Jule. This combination is outstanding for practice and tracking. A summer ago it was brilliant with the rackmount Monique amplifying an Ashbory in my group. In the studio when I needed to feel the huge large speaker thing Monique acted as pre for 1500w of IP goodness.

I think this last year has brought out creativity in many of us that might have been otherwise left behind. And that's a good thing in this year of meager harvest for some. Of late, I've seen some things, re-looked at some old ideas, in new productive ways. Difficult to explain, but it is good.
Monique is pushing 12 years old now. Built completely as a tool, but I never would have thunk.
Thank you for your kind comments and for continuing to stretch Monique. I'd just be a dude snorting solder smoke if it wasn't for you and the other good folk out there.

Monique is an essential tool and part of the family now. Live or recording as a DI and as a front end of a bass rig. I could not imagine life without her. She excels as top of the heap in every category.
I use the Pelican iM2700 Storm Case (Interior: 22" × 17" × 8") with foam, and it's a shade larger than the 1550 (18.6" × 14.2" × 7.7"), and works great.

Right out of “the box”…sounds as expected—gorgeous/lightening quick (line level pulled out) thru my NV412!

It's not going to happen this year, but it might next year. I don't really play shows anymore, but I record quite a bit at home. It seems like a dove cage would make more sense in that context than a 700, yes?
