Hey, i don't mean to derail the thread but i gots a quick question and i know you guys will have the answer!

I have the JO 5 string and i want to replace the knobs with chrome ones rather than the standard black J-styles. I bought some the other day and they don't fit because the hole is too small. Is the only way to get correct sized ones to order direct from Lakland???

i'd just order different knobs or try to exchange the ones you got. most knobs are the same size, but i haven't tried swapping on my DJ recently.

Black, No Doubt!!! In my opinion the only time tort looks good is on a sunburst finish.

black over tort anyday, imo. in fact...i'd put peanut butter on there before i put a tort guard, so take the tort off and put peanut butter on it. you can pick the flavor and consistency.
