Hey Guys,

Just picked up a 44-02 and really lovin it. I am running into a choked out note on the E string (A) Kind of bums me out as it kills everywhere else..Anyways I'm hoping a Plek or new nut might fix the issue. Just curious if anyone knows the turn around on getting the Plek job done?

not sure....BUT maybe all it needs is a good set up...either way, Carl at Lakland should be able to set you up.....also, there is that "thing"..cannot remember the name right now...Evan had one for US JO....it is a weight that supposedly gets rid of dead spots and he swears it works.....

Evan...can you chime in here????

No one bash me for this, but would it be worth it to get a preowned 44-01 (Invalid Link Removed) and upgraded the pickups and preamp because if so, it would cost me more than a BG or DJ because of price and installation.

JUST GET A LAKIE AND BE HAPPY! seriously - That might be a good combo.....but maybe a nicely used 44-02 would be cheaper than the upgrade etc and will give you what you want....

OK, found a drawback to playing Laklands.... at last nights gig, the sound man took up half of one of our breaks telling me how much he loved my tone, lol. Same setup as last week, the BG5 through the Ashdown rig. I won't lie, I rather enjoyed it!

so.....you just have to "hold it" longer.....LOL!!!!

As usual, I come to my lakland cohorts for some sound advice. I am really needing a P5, and I know that A.) I do not have the fund for a US and B.) A skyline P5 is not going to happen.....I have an opportunity to possibly trade my Glaub for a new fender P5 (in the same color..lol). I can't believe I am thinking about trading my Glaub. I love that thing, but just wish it had a low B. Am I making a mistake???? Talk some sense into me.

save for a US BG5........or wait for a while longer...the economy is improving and so....maybe JUST maybe the LOG bass will happen.....
