2 Questions:

-Who can hook me up with a number? (Nubs never responded)

-Is there a big difference in feel between the Joe Osborn neck and the 44-02 neck?

Thanks!

as for a number, sorry about NUBS....he has been kind of absent lately.....I will see if I can find out what his last number was....

sorry - cannot help with your second question....I play 5ers and all of the necks are identical.

having said that, i beleive the 4 banger necks are different...the J is a std 1.5" neck and the 44-02 is a 1.6" neck....

Hey blondmix3 I think I found the perfect match for Radioactive Oatmeal :hiding: :p

sorry NO!!!!!!!!:spit:
radioactive oatmeal is classy....

NO WAY!!!! I HAVE THE SAME FIREPLACE POKER!!! OMG...THIS IS SO AMAZING, oh wait, there are basses in front of that AWESOME FIREPLACE POKER. :hiding:

on a serious note, I got home and the ACDJ was sitting in the living room all boxed up. I opened it up and it was beautiful! The neck on the DJ is something I really like. This bass can't be an ounce over 8 lbs. Lightweight, killer jazz tone. I plugged it in to my Mesa and it was wonderful!!!! It may be time for my 55-02 to move out and snag a DJ5.

congrats Aaron!!!! those Natty DJs are sweet....overall pretty light as a group also....

lessseee... as of now, there are a few options... A passive US 55-CS fretless... a fretless 55-02 and a 55-01 (to be converted into a PJ5)... a fretless US Mike Lull M5 and a 55-01 (a PJ5-to-be)... a 55-01 with a US neck and two Big Singles (PJ5-to-be) and a skyline fretless... Daym, that's too many!

ooooo...alot of nice choices (all but one!)......I agree - the US 55CS fretless would be a killer!

I take that as a compliment - my punk rock roots are showing! I was probably thinking Paul Simonon at the time, but close enough.

And Greg - Evan and I have an ongoing 3-way with JO #26 (Tracy? Stacy? Spacey? ) so she goes back to him when he's ready.

Then? I'll be Gassing for a hollowbody with CHi's and Maple Neck Decade, but we'll see what happens. Its hard to let any of them go.

Evan!!!! congrats!!!! I thought you could not let go for long....BUT WHICH classic bass is leaving?????

not the blue one you waited so long for?????:eyebrow::eek:
