I ordered some knobs for my 55-07 and they fit (snuggly)
They won't fit on the Decade's solid shafts. You need regular P bass knobs for solid shafts.

Got this 2nd hand lefty US Joe Osborn 5 just yesterday...
Still in the honeymoon period, but I don't know how I could be the 3rd owner? I think this one is staying with me.

Funny how seeing lefty basses always kinda throws me. I think it's because I'm reminded of just how weird the body shapes tend to be. We don't notice it because we're used to seeing it, but really, the JB body shape is kind of an alien-looking thing.
So, I made a $3000 deposit on my Sadowsky Standard on Friday. The reason I bring this up here is because I get the feeling that seeing my Sadowsky's top next to my quilted Skyline might give me the desire to trade my 55-02 in for a US fancy-topped Lakkie. When that happens, my wife is going to flip.
So I'll just convince Doude in a couple of years that he no longer needs that blue beauty of his.

Good concept? I think so...
Decade should arrive tomorrow. Making the hour and a half trek home from college to open it, take pictures, warm it up a bit, then move it into my dorm room!

What are your thoughts on the LOG bass vs the other P variations (older Glaubs, newer -64s)?
How about the prototypes - better or worse than the "real" 30 that came out?

Can I have a number please? Love my new 55-02.

If not, does anyone know where I might find an after market one. Waiting on my first Lakie to arrive this Tues, will post pics and request a number when she's all done.
