Let's see what you got!
That is sweet! I love The Fool inspired paint!
I see that galifreyan!
What are the components of that bass?
FCS really nailed that shade of red in the '58 burst. It's rare to see one so perfectly recreated.Hard to go past my Custom Shop '58 P-Bass.
Holy Shnikes! I LOVE the Trace rig! 4-10's & 2-15's! Your guitarist that plays that Fender Twin must be scared to plug in next to you!! You should point that fog machine right at that guy and his annoying Little Girly Man amp!!!View attachment 2926525 View attachment 2926526 ltd f414 18 volt.
@Raulplaysbass I echo the sentiment of @mongo2 and @lowdownthump...gotta hear the story on the Shoreline Gold Reverse Double P! That is one beautiful thing of wonder!

Hey thanks! That's really cool of you guys!
It all started here & took 4 years to complete. I came across this photo some years ago and it really spoke to me. That reverse split P looks so crazy cool. I also was heavily influenced by Leland Sklar and his Frankestein Bass too. I "dable" in Bass Luthiery so, I found a Stingray DIY kit on line with dual humbuckers & started gathering parts (I know, I know, the DIY Kits are crap! but hold on, it gets better keep reading!!). I would say, the neck and body are comparable to a Fender Mexican P bass quality. So, not complete crap and with a little attention to detail, really really impressive for the money. The neck has more girth that my 50 year old hands really like. All the measurements & alignments checked out. So, we moved on!
The pickups were key. They had to have the big MM poles. Delano fit the bill. I took 3 months to have them mfg'd in white & shipped from Germany. I tell ya, I couldn't be happier. Kinda EMGish, but different, Super high fidelity tone, fabrication and packaging. Boutique quality for sure. A bit Spendy ($350-$375 if I recall). As I mentioned they are passive and wired like a Jazz Bass VVT/Input. Sounds amazing. Imagine a Stingray that's been tamed just a bit. Warmer and not as aggressive in the treble but full punch & authority. BestBassGear assembled the harness with a passive tone circuit I forget the specs on. All top quality stuff from them. Brass Hipshot Bridge, String thru Ferrels & Brass Nut. Rings like a bell and never ending sustain! Hipshot Ultralites w/ a D tuner. I ordered a standard Stingray pickguard on eBay without any pickup routing and cut out the pickup routes myself (that was fun, NOT!!!) I always wanted white pups and guard but didn't settle on a final color until I saw a shoreline gold & white P bass and that made the most impact & sense. I think I nailed it, If I don't say so myself!! The headstock water slide decal I found online. This is a tribute for my own collection. I cut-off "Bass" in the script just so it looked a little unrefined like a prototype would.
Cheers!
