Modulus Mob

Posted a pic in the old Mod thread the other day but guessing no one uses that anymore... so here are some for this thread! I'm a lefty so I can't flip it over to play and still sleep at night (what a sin!) so this beauty might have to go! More pics available at: http://s92.photobucket.com/albums/l24/BBurns1933/Modulus Q5 TBX/

No markings on the bridge and I'm not sure about the preamp. This is the only active bass I've ever owned so I can't tell you much about it. I play primarily Yamaha passives and upright. You can probably tell me more about it than I can tell you!
I bought it as part of a package of equipment from a local player... he had a 4 string as well (not TBX) but it wasn't in great shape.

I'm not into gold hardware but I do dig your TBX 3rdegree.
Cheers

Any tricks or tips on cleaning a graphite fretboard? Perhaps not so much cleaning but evening up it's appearance, polishing a bit, etc. Particular products you like?

Pretty sure whenever I've asked Modulus this question (which I seem to do every 5-10 years, 'cuz I keep forgetting their answer) they've said Warm Water and/or a mild non-abrasive kitchen cleaner like Fantastic.

I have a 'lawsuit' Bassstar that is blue sparkle that I got in '89. It came with EMGs and still sounds fantastic to this day. I wouldn't call it sterile either. That's interesting about WD-40. I just got an email from a friend that said WD-40 is primarily made with fish oil as it was created to keep water out of military rockets. The name means "Water Displacement formula #40" created on the fortieth attempt by the San Diego Rocket Chemical Company in 1953. Never looked it up, but the weirdness of Modulus coupled with WD-40 made for an interesting synchronicity.
