OMG. .... .. Just when I thought this post couldn't get any better - guyfergy catches me with my mouth open. There is no comparison. That's a Dad. That's a real Dad ` maybe from Pennsylvania or something ` but that's a real classic Dad.
I haven't read all 42 pages, but I have one question. Is Dan Atkinson planning a "which bass is the Mothman" thread?
I'm surprised this hasn't been brought up yet but there's really only one safe place for the Mothman -

The winner of the lotto passed on the Mothman due to shipping.
He said that he would sell it to the first person willing to pay the price.
We both contacted people who had contacted us both and the first person to accept and paypal the lotto winner was Eyeballkid.
The Mothman bass is in my basement right now until the 23rd of this month when I will deliver the bass to it's new owner at the time of me getting my Mothman vs Yar (Atari 2600) tattoo. I have been busy with a newborn with colic and my mother who has gone into the ER twice since I've had the Mothman in my care.
I had two TBrs inquire about using the bass at a gig prior to the lotto neither wanted the curse in their home. So it sits..... And it waits..... It is akin to a psychic vampire draining my life force.
I would welcome a crack binge over the sorrow this bass has brought to my door.
When I didn't win I felt as if the creeping death had passed over my door.
I could have paid the price to have the Mothman as "the precious"
But then the people would rightly have cried out
Foul foul hustle hustle and bamboozler!
The goal of this whole thing is continue the joke
The goal is to have this be as "macaroni tony photochop" as can be.
Considering that eyeballkid's band is putting the bass on their album cover, I will
be making stickers eventually patches. Ed "meow meow" Friedland has not weighed in on this but considering the bass is 30+lbs he would have to come to it.
The legend continues........
***eyeballkid is a talented tattoo artist in the MD area.
I was already planning on making a bass related tattoo appointment after I met him through the TB classifieds.
but fate stepped in and the scars of the Mothman will be commemorated permanently.
Contact him for appointments I am not sure if he is running a special on Mothman tattoos but I know Din of Win will be getting an XmothmanX tattoo.
