Well, it's always the Bears turn...about once every five years or so.

And, it was fifth and sixth string...not third string. Not to mention all the whining I've heard from Bears fans ever since the Bear Killer came to town. Now he'll be leaving and the Bears are rejoicing, because with a lesser Packers team, the Bears finally have a chance to lose in the playoffs. ;)

I hear ya. I like watching the NFC North fans argue all the time. None of them are any good anymore, so they just argue about who sucks less. :D

The Browns will be fielding a decent team this season. The O line is 1000 times better with the addition of LeCharles Bentley and Kevin Shaffer, Joe Jurevicius provides a veteran presence at WR, with Ted Washington we have a big man at nose tackle, and Willie McGinest will tear it up at LB and mentor some of the younger guys.

It all depends on Charlie Frye and if Braylon and KW can rehab quick enough...but I think they will do fairly well, and the draft should fill in some huge holes. and don't forget that Reuban Droughns was good last year, that new O line should make him better. It just sucks that the Brownies are in a tough division.

We'll see how those free agent signings pan out, I suppose. I think the O-line guys were good pick-ups, and Joe J is a player I like very much, but McGinest and Washington might be getting too old to really depend on. Crennel seems like a good enough coach to get a lot of production out of them before it's all said and done, though, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Frye has looked good at times, but as a Steelers fan, Droughns is far from scary. He's a tough runner, but still in the bottom half of the league's starters. Right now I think the Browns are still outclassed by the Bengals and the Steelers, so that's my rationale for thinking they aren't won't be much of a factor. I've been wrong before, though.

If the Brownies climb above .500, though...then I suspect we'll hear some of that Steelers/Browns trash talk that I've been missing for a number of years. :D

Yeah there's no question that the Steelers and the Bengals are better teams, but you just never know. I wonder how Carson is going to be when he comes back from injury...

I think the old guys like Ted Washington and Willie McG will do fine...remember that Willie is reunited with Crennel so that should be interesting.

I'm hoping that they draft Haloti Ngata for NT...he would fit perfectly and take over for Ted because he is up there in age.

Oh man, you gotta' love the off season optimism. Good for you MO. I hope you're right about Willie. I have my doubts though. If he was worth anything, NE would have kept him. Those guys in NE know how to put a team together.

Pittsburgh has the AFC West, and the NFC South this year. That should provide for some exciting weeks around here. I'll be butting heads with Gard and Woodchuck. Sweet!!
