Yeah, i'll try and get some better pics of her tomorrow.

I just want to say that after an awkward period of not really feeling 'it' with any basses, that P really hit the spot. Ive had flats on her since I got her and put a set of SS lo riders on, and she sounds awesome.

I've been looking at a highway 1 J to go along with the P, i've heard some people say they dont like the J's as much. Any reason for that?

I dunno...I had a 60th anniversary midnight wine (white pearl pickguard) Highway One and I liked it alot...but then I tried a 70's Classic. They obviously both measure 1-1/2" at the nut, but I'm a sucker for a fat neck profile. After I played one, I couldn't get it outta my head.

So, as much as I liked my Highway, I sold it for $650 (I paid $639) and drove straight from the buyer's house to Guitar Center with the cash to get the 70's (for the same $650). Regardless, I'd recommend the Highway Jazz for thinner neck enthusiasts.

I checked my photo from a few pages back, and the link is broken...here it is (was) after I pulled the BadAss II off for my 70's.

Yeah, that does look really really nice!
I really like the 70's Js, but i'm a huge fan of the nitro finishes on the highways. I've tinkered with the idea of getting a burst highway1 body and the 70s neck.

Here is my highway one! Dimarzio pickups and the black stainless pickguard are only non oem items. Soon to put vintage style tuners then it's done.

That is sweet. I have a HWY-One body that color with a parchment guard. That looks great with tort (and I just happen to get a tort guard in the mail today.....)

I was worried how the wine/tort combo would end up looking when I ordered. Turned out great IMO. Much better than the stock one.
