Mine is from couple of Richard D. James noms de guerre: Aphex Twin and AFX. Then I was reminded of Aphex Electronics, who make audio signal processors, and I'm sure that's what most people think lol. My username comes from WAY before my tb membership.

I was getting into theory at the time, and listening to a lot of Sabbath. My name is a reference to the tritone, just the a at the end wouldn't fit. Apparently this is the name of a Slayer album, but I am not a big fan.
Screen name I have been using since a got a computer in 2001. Found out a Bulgarian group has that name. I have this weird interest in playing various cross rhythms on keyboards. Came up with a bunch of different pieces using polyrhythms. Took up bass for the fun of it just before my 50th b'day, and rarely use polyrhythm.

Precisions are meant to be digged in upon!I used to do a lot of combat sports. Kickboxing, MMA - that kind of thing. I've always had heavy hands and been accused a time or two of having lead in my gloves. Jokingly I think.
Anyways, when I play my technique is a bit heavy. I've been working on a lighter touch, but when I get going I seem to always dig in really hard. I decided to go with leadfingers, cause I think all the "heavy" must have settled in my fingers.
