I almost chose the name "Sgt. Hacker" for the same reason. He was a character on the "Gomer Pyle" TV show back in the sixties.

Chose SamTheButcher because I was/am really good at butchering my basslines....called myself that during practice one time and it just stuck. "Sam The Butcher" was a character on the Brady Bunch.



Yes, oddly they were both played by the same actor.
