Reiner Amplification Megathread

It varies. I'd say it's likely to be there around 2-3pm PST today. This requires a signature for delivery and the trick is that I'm not home, but my wife is. She has a home office. The office door is on the back of the house. The delivery guys (USPS, UPS, FedEx) all know where to go, and I had her leave a note on the front door to ensure that they go around the back with it. The problem is that it's a medical practice and occasionally she's back in one of the treatment rooms when the delivery guy shows up. There's a slim chance that this won't get dropped off today because of the signature issue. If that's the case I'll run down to the distribution facility after work and pick it up.

That's why I just have it delivered to work. Someone to sign, and less likely to be stolen off doorstep
Delivery day is always so painful when you need a signature. The ol' tag, your it game. Can't wait to hear what you think.

Yeah, unfortunately there is no way around direct signature when it's fully insured.

I work for city government, and we're not allowed to have packages sent to the office. There was a resolution passed to forbid it as it requires staff time (i.e. community tax dollars) being spent on things that didn't benefit the community. Makes sense, but is definitely a pain. When I worked in the private sector that's how I always did it.

Hmmmmmm...........I too work for city government. They have so many packages getting delivered they don't know what's what. I always laugh when I get a bass shipped there. People always try to guess what's in the box
It shouldn't be a big deal, but we're a fairly large city with a lot of people to serve, so I'm sure someone just wanted to stir the pot by complaining about trivial things.

Delivery date just switched from 12/21 to "pending" but my wife said the FedEx guy is nowhere to be seen. Hmmmm... Might not happen until tomorrow.

If it's Express and not Ground, Monday deliveries often get put back a day due to lower pickup volume on other days. But this week, who knows?

Double-boxed. @JGR even does packing right!
