Rejected Band Names

I'm not surprised that many of these rejected names are somewhat bawdy. I loved "The Camel Tones" but it limits the venues that you can play.
We play a lot of Moose Lodges so a co-worker call us "The Moose Knuckles". "Camel Tones" is hilarious.

LOL that one's been rejected by 2 of my bands also, along with JavelinJones....
"Fartwind" - 'cause it's a nice play on words in German. Turned out I was the only one in the band who thought so.
I felt the same about "Shy Seagull" (Sheisse egal), but noone else liked it.
I was once in a band known as Pocket Mafia. I always thought that was a cool name. I also love the name Day Shift Strippers.
When I was younger, my friends and I came up with a new band name every week. I think I chose one of the worst names by far, Alkaline Earth Metal. So corny and stupid... Ha!
Not a band I was in, but a salesman at a music store I used to frequent until the ownership changed and the store changed to focus on band instruments..
His name was Hal, and people kept telling him to call his band Hal's Angels.

Oh there's been several, the worst one I ever came up with that got turned down, was the first band I played in.

There's way too many for me to actually remember or name here but one of my bands that didn't work out was going to be named "Raising The Channel". Our guitarist kept insisting on using it but the drummer and I didn't understand it and we still have no idea why he found it remotely interesting. Oh well, maybe there is a reason the band the didn't work out!
Some of the ones turned down either by me other the rest of the band really had some potential like "I Can't Believe They're Not Stairs" and "Fist Full of Arseholes". And then there's "Danolisa" which was a big hello no for me.
