Well, I really have been enjoying this, but I actually have to go and play my Sire.

It's not too late to find a nice Squier.

I see Hopkins went back edited his post...cuz he actuallycalled me an idiot.

Seems like if might be time to try one out and see what the fuss is about. Looking at a picture and speculating is only that: speculation. But arguing ad nauseam about that speculation without taking the trouble to find out seems like a huge waste of time and energy. A kind of masochistic wank. Like listening to my in-laws arguing in the back seat about whether Osama Bin Laden came from Iraq or Afghanistan, when they both admit they don't know for sure, but they're pretty sure the other one is wrong. I eventually ask them to quit arguiing until they get home and look it up on Wikipedia, fer cryin' out loud. But I learned that they just love to pick fights about things they actually don't know about, because it annoys them that somebody might know something they don't.
You'll be hearing from the Sire Club lawyers soon.I honestly do not know what a sire is.
I see it mentioned alot but never looked it up....Sue me.
I may be sued but I still do not know what a sire is.Consider yourself sued.

Can we still do SX?Folks, we all get the point. Sire makes a fine bass at an attractive price point. It's fine to sing their praise and say nice things about them. However, we are at the point where there appears to be a deliberate campaign to bring up Sire in every single Fender/Squier thread. Once in a while is fine. But we are far beyond once in a while. We get it. Sire is a good bass. Your work is done.
Thank you. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.
Can we still do SX?
You, Sire, have nailed it. Another clone...ho hum...bfdThe most disappointing thing about the Sire excitement, is that it's really nothing but a cheap knockoff of a 40 year old design...
Where is the innovation?
