Request - ease up on the Sire advocacy

Back to this "covert endorsement" stuff....
I learned about "Double-Secret Probation" years ago from watching Animal House, but this is the first time I've ever heard of "Double Secret Endorsement".
Will wearing a tin-foil hat protect me from from these unknown & apparently undesireable endorsers?

I didn't speculate about anything, I have basses that have the exact same tuners as the Sire basses. The hardware is not on par with that of a Fender American Standard.

And how, pray tell, am I supposed to try one when the only option I have to try one is to drop half a grand and order one?

However, we are at the point where there appears to be a deliberate campaign to bring up Sire in every single Fender/Squier thread. Once in a while is fine. But we are far beyond once in a while. We get it. Sire is a good bass. Your work is done.

Hard to believe this blew up into 16 pages in one afternoon. And while I agree there seems to be ALOT of posts lauding Sire basses at the moment, for the most part it is not any worse than any other new bass line I've seen raved about over the years.

It's all cool. People like them, are excited about them and pumping them some. This too shall pass. Just good to see another reasonably priced alternative on the market. There's always room for good alternatives in their price range.
