OK, we know what it is. If you press and hold the OPTION button in bypass, this will happen. There is no damage to anything. It is a little bug. Nothing to worry about.

By the way, I may have been misleading about something. I will clarify:

Press and hold OPTION on the Manta with effect engaged: this takes you back to neutral settings on parameters. These knob positions will be the same for each effect.

Press and hold the OPTION button on the Orbital, and you will get the knob positions that we think sound good and are a good starting point for each effect type. These knob positions will not be the same for each effect.

Why is it different on these two pedals? The filter effects are generally in the same basic family on Manta (with the slight exception of the phasers). However, the Orbital effects can be quite different and a neutral knob setting might sound good on one effect and less good on another.

Hope this is helpful and not confusing!

I need to go check BUT I feel like I had a preset selected and was not in bypass mode when this happened to me. It seems to me there are actually three states the pedal could be in:

(1) Preset selected, unmodified
(2) Preset selected, modified (light blinking)
(3) Bypass

I think I was in (2) when this happened. Again, I will have to try it.

I wanted to know a couple of things that I did not find the news:
- The control midi reported on this page has been implemented?
- There is a way to see the levels of the pot for a preset saved? (Type the korg g5 that has an LED that flashes when it is in place)

I have both and IMO, the Manta works way better for me. it's my favorite envelope pdeal bar none.

The MIDI adapter for the Soundblox 2 pedals is shipping. It is called the "Hub" and it can do much more than just a MIDI interface.

Yes, you can recall knob settings on the Soundblox 2 pedals. This is from the manual:
Discovering Preset Knob Positions
Since the MANTA preset values can differ from the physical knob positions, it may
be useful to determine the positions of the preset knob values. To start the
process, put the pedal in bypass mode and set all the knobs to their full
counter-clockwise positions. Next, enable the preset, and slowly turn each knob
up one at a time, until the preset indicator LED begins to blink rapidly. This rapid
blinking indicates that the current position of the knob matches the saved value.

thanks for the answers! you are always at the top in customer care!

I apologize for the question about the midi controller, I did not realize it had been implemented in the MIDI "Hub". I thought it was a standalone Windows program for the control and storage of presets on home computer via midi (to have a highest range of presets saved over 6 by default!)
