Cool. I look forward to seeing it. Though I don't doubt that two Fifth Gears stack well, I did like x52dcd’s idea. And I would like the ability to toggle between two settings with a footswitch, a relative rarity in the drive pedal genre; usually it's a drive circuit after a switchable boost. Good luck with development!

I definitely get this sentiment. One of my first ever builds was a RAT with a switch to toggle between two seperate sets of knobs. It slayed.
That's cool, but I'd like to see a second set of input and output. Then u could stack the Fifth gears, Ala Ten Speed or route it so you have a fifth gear at the beginning of the chain and one later if you wanted. Just an idea

Enclosures are in production. I'd guess about 4 weeks until we start taking orders unless we hit a roadblock.
Can the effects be blended such as chorus with phaser ?The Utility Knife is in fact a reality. It is a collaboration between Southampton and Broughton Audio. Josh and Hamish worked out the details, I just get to play them
It has 4 common modulation effects in a small box (same size as the Ictineo), Chorus,Flanger, Tremolo and Phaser. Each effect has rate, depth and volume.. Each effect has been tuned to give you optimum sound for that effect. Each one is clean and crisp and sounds great Mio.
This one will be ready soon, and there will be more 'BroHampton" pedals in the future. Thanks for all the interest and all the support everyone!!! We really appreciate it..
No, this is not possible. The whole approach to the Utility Knife was to create a great sounding modulation pedal without the bells and whistles of a super tweakable mod box. Usable straight out of the package in any setting. Low profile. And a price tag to match.
There are major players in the industry making incredibly versatile modulation pedals that we can't compete with. However, we think there is a serious lack of HIGH QUALITY affordable multi fx.
Enclosures are in production. 4 - 6 weeks still I would imagine.
