Evan, what Spector do you have? and that strap is the most comfortable strap I've ever used
I have a Performer Deluxe 5, what about you?

If you had a choice between two bass rigs;
Ampeg PR-410HLF W/SVT-15EN or Ampeg SVT-810...
Which would you choose?![]()
Once again I am the opposite of most people on here... I love 15" thunder. I keep debating adding a 2x10 or 2x12 but the 400 watts of 15" are all I have ever needed so far![]()
Don't get me wrong; 15's are awesome, I just wouldn't pair em with a 410.
I personally like 2x12's the best and am looking for another, but its getting hard to find the cabs I like.

BTW... Not only is Sir Ian McKellen Gandalf, Magneto (and I think secretly he's also Santa Claus)... but he's got wicked tastes in SPECTOR Basses.![]()

Oh wait, that was one of his personal onesLooking for the article though, he sold that one and hmmm, another one that sounds like it could have been "brownie." Here is the link:

Also I thought about getting that flamed Rex5 but the Elk guys said it was close to 15lbs which is why it never became Rex's #1 even when that model was just coming out.

Another positive about the 8X10 is that they are relatively inexpensive on the used market.
Looks like Mithradir (Gandalf, sorry I'm a Lord of the Rings nerd) exchanged his staff for something a bit cooler.
